Sziget FestivalHungary - August 10 - 17, 2009
Sziget Festival is probably the biggest party of Europe. It is going to takes place on an island in the Danube in the city Budapest, Hungary.
Every August thousands of young people from all over Europe head to what has become the biggest summer event of the continent. Over 500 bands and artists perform on more then 40 stages: pop, rock, dance, worldmusic, theatre, etc... What makes Sziget unique among the big festivals is the location in the heart of one of Europe's most vibrant cities; the fact that anyone can put their tent wherever they like, whether it's just next to the stage or on the riverside; the international feeling, only 25% of the visitors comes out of Hungary; the wide variety of good food and beverage for prices and off course the great weather.
